Lalate reports about the Ventura tsunami that the Ventura CA Harbor Office stated, “Right now our priority is dealing with life over property.” According to the Ventura County Star, “Despite broadcast reports that Ventura Harbor has suffered damage from the tsunami surge today, harbor officials said there was some erosion but no major incidents or significant damage during a six-foot tidal surge. Harbor officials said their focus was on getting offshore boats into the harbor.”

The current Tsunami Advisory includes parts of coastal California, Washington, Oregon, British Columbia and areas of Alaska.

Ventura California Barista saw the tsunami days ago in her Chai Latte

Ventura California Barista, Concepcion McDonald, saw a tsunami in her Chai Latte last Wednesday. The mood in the cafe is somber as Concepcion nods toward the small TV near the register tuned to the most recent news about the tsunami warning in Hawaii. “All of this could have been prevented but no one believed me.”

Ventura California natives are lined up for blocks to get a glimpse of Concepcion who has offered to sign napkins for a small donation to a local ashram. She is quoted as saying, “It was, like, a really big wave.”

The warning for people to stay off beaches because the tsunami is not given yet, as there is no possibility found that the wave to rise more than 3 feet according Los Angeles County Fire Officials. This is because the surges came during low tide, thus it’s reducing the chances of problems

Osmond’s teen son dies

Marie Osmond’s 18-year-old son Michael Blosil has died, the entertainer said Saturday. Osmond said in a statement through her publicist that her family is devastated by the “tragic loss.” She did not provide details on the death.

Entertainment Tonight reported on its Web site that Blosil jumped to his death Friday night from a downtown Los Angeles apartment building.
